Nessie is the latest addition to the Highlands family of dogs. She is proving to be very smart, quick to learn, confident and with a sweet, loving temperament.
UPDATE October, 2018 - Nessie recently earned her UKC Seasoned Hunting Retriever title Sept. 23 at the Richmond Hunt Club in Illinois held by Fox River Valley HRC. She ran all three required tests with a qualifying score, straight through and all the while in her last two tests she was three weeks pregnant! She has been bred to Tex, Watermark's Tall Texan at RockinX, MH. Puppies are due approximately Nov. 1 and reservations are being taken now. Nessie earned her Started Hunting Retriever title on June 27th, 2017 at the Wisill HRC
25th anniversary hunt. She earned her title with four straight passes and did an awesome and stylish job. She is
a girl with tremendous drive and desire and is always so happy doing what she was bred to do.
She is well on her way to a great field career!
Nessie earned her first two Started passes at the River Valley HRC event in Mazomanie, WI in May, 2015. This was her first time out and she did a terrific job.
